Caution and requests regarding milk spots

In recent years, there have been cases where milk spots (discoloration that is milky white or black) have appeared on some silver coins recently issued by mints around the world.
*Please check the image below.

*An example of a milk spot

Milk spots are thought to be caused by residual chemicals used during coin manufacturing, but currently, even mints are unable to prevent them, and are unable to predict the timing or size of their appearance.
*Gold and copper coins issued in the past may also discolor.

If milk spots occur during the period of storage, the grading company will not be held liable.

If you are considering applying for grading of recently issued silver coins, please be sure to understand the above contents and that we cannot take any responsibility for milk spots or discoloration that occurs during the period from when we receive the coin to when we return it to you.
